الكاميرا CM-3 هي كاميرا SLR بفيلم مقاس 35 مم من إنتاج شركة Chinon. وهي تشبه إلى حد كبير الكاميرات Chinon AM-3 وCM-1، ولكن هناك اختلافات بسيطة في التصميم.
تقبل هذه الموديلات عدسات لولبية مقاس 42 مم، ويقوم المستخدم بتنشيط قياس الإيقاف بالضغط على زر تحرير الغالق نصف ضغطة. تشير مصابيح LED الملونة على الحافة اليمنى لعدسة عدسة الكاميرا إلى نقص/تصحيح/زيادة التعريض لإعدادات الكاميرا الحالية. (في بعض الموديلات الأحدث مثل CS-4، انتقلت مصابيح LED هذه إلى الحافة اليسرى، ربما بشكل أكثر راحة للمصورين الذين يستخدمون العين اليمنى - والذين هم الأغلبية مثل مستخدمي اليد اليمنى.)
