Le Ricoh infomatic ST est un télémètre 35 mm équipé de l'objectif Rikenon 2.8 40 mm, ce qui en fait un appareil photo génial à utiliser. L'appareil photo est équipé d'un système de priorité à l'obturation ou d'exposition automatique. L'aiguille du posemètre dans le viseur indique le diaphragme idéal à la vitesse d'obturation choisie. La mise au point doit être effectuée à l'aide de l'échelle de distance sur l'anneau extérieur. Il y a un retardateur et une griffe pour une utilisation régulière du flash.
