Le Pentacon 29 mm F2.8 était l'un des objectifs grand angle les plus produits en ex-RDA. Il est compact et léger et offre une qualité d’image décente à un prix très bas. Ce n’est certainement pas le meilleur objectif grand angle du marché, mais si vous utilisez un appareil photo avec un capteur recadré, cet objectif pourrait quand même être très intéressant pour vous. Vous pourrez prendre des images plus larges. En même temps, vous n'aurez pas à vous soucier de la douceur des coins que vous obtiendrez en photographiant cet objectif sur un boîtier plein format. Il n'est pas livré avec les capuchons d'objectif.
