Le Polaroid 636 Closeup est un appareil photo instantané. Il est conçu pour le format de film Polaroid 600. Le Polaroid 636 Closeup est très simple à utiliser. Vous n’avez pas besoin d’un manuel pour appuyer sur le déclencheur, l’appareil photo s’occupe du reste. Le temps d'exposition et l'ouverture sont automatiquement réglés par l'appareil photo instantané à l'aide du posemètre. Des images instantanées plus claires et plus sombres sont possibles grâce au contrôle clair/obscur. Il n'y a pas de zoom ni d'autofocus. L'appareil photo est doté d'un flash intégré et est livré avec la boîte d'origine et le manuel.
