تم إنتاج كاميرا FED 4 rangefinder بواسطة مصنع FED في خاركوف، أوكرانيا من عام 1964 إلى عام 1980. تحتوي على عدسات قابلة للتبديل، مزودة بمسامير لولبية من نوع Leica M39. كانت العدسة القياسية المعتادة الموردة هي Industar 61 مقاس 53 مم f2.8. تحتوي على مصراع بؤري، بسرعات من 1 ثانية إلى 1/500 ثانية +B، مع مزامنة فلاش بسرعة 1/30 ثانية ومؤقت ذاتي. حجم الإطار 24x36 مم على فيلم مقاس 35 مم.
